The Project: A Complete Home Transformation
Working as part of a complete property renovation undertaken by Nest Design & Build, Associated Windows provided a range of window and door solutions selected to complement the home’s contemporary design.
The glazing specification brought together three established names in the industry: Origin, Spitfire and Sunflex. Each product was chosen to fulfil a different role within the property, from the windows and everyday access doors to the statement entrance and large sliding glass doors.
By combining these premium systems, the renovation could incorporate practical, modern glazing alongside the architectural features that help define the character of the finished home.
Origin Windows and Doors: Contemporary Style Throughout
Origin aluminium windows and doors formed an important part of the renovation, providing a high-quality solution suited to the property’s modern design.
Known for their precision engineering, sleek aluminium profiles and extensive design options, Origin products are a popular choice for homeowners looking to combine contemporary styling with everyday functionality.
Aluminium window frames offer a clean, streamlined appearance, while the durability of the material makes it particularly well suited to modern residential projects.
As an Origin Premium Partner, Associated Windows offers homeowners in Bristol and the surrounding areas access to a comprehensive range of Origin aluminium glazing solutions.
A Statement Entrance with a Spitfire Front Door
The entrance to a property creates an important first impression, making the choice of front door a key part of any home renovation.
For this project, a Spitfire entrance door was included in the specification, bringing a premium architectural element to the front of the home.
Spitfire aluminium entrance doors are recognised for their contemporary styling, robust construction and distinctive designs. Their combination of visual appeal and practical functionality makes them an excellent consideration for homeowners looking to create a striking entrance.
The inclusion of a Spitfire door helped establish a consistent premium approach to the glazing and entrance solutions throughout this renovation.
Sunflex 30 Sliding Doors: Bringing the Outside In
One of the standout elements of the project was the installation of a large set of Sunflex 30 sliding doors.
Large-format sliding glass doors are increasingly popular in contemporary home renovations, particularly where homeowners want to maximise natural light and create a stronger visual connection with their garden or outdoor living space.
The Sunflex 30 sliding door system is designed around slim aluminium profiles and generous glazed panels, helping to create wide views with minimal visual interruption.
For a renovation of this scale, the inclusion of an expansive sliding door installation provides an important architectural feature, bringing together the internal living areas and the space beyond.
Combining Premium Glazing with Thoughtful Design
A successful home renovation is about more than selecting individual products. It is about choosing windows and doors that work together as part of the overall design.
This Bristol project brought together three complementary glazing solutions:
Origin windows and doors – delivering sleek aluminium styling and modern functionality throughout the property.
Spitfire entrance door – creating a distinctive, contemporary feature at the front of the home.
Sunflex 30 sliding doors – introducing large expanses of glazing to enhance natural light and the connection with outdoor spaces.
With the wider renovation undertaken by Nest Design & Build, these products formed part of a carefully considered transformation, demonstrating the role premium windows and doors can play in modern residential design.
The Finished Project
Completed in 2025, this Bristol home renovation is an excellent example of how premium aluminium windows and doors can complement a complete property transformation.
From the Origin glazing systems to the statement Spitfire entrance and expansive Sunflex sliding doors, the project brings together quality products and contemporary design in a cohesive residential scheme.
Associated Windows is proud to have contributed to the project, supplying glazing solutions that form an integral part of the home’s finished appearance.
